Naruto (ナルト) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who searches for recognition and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The story is in two parts, the first set in Naruto’s pre-teen years, and the second in his teens. The show started airing since 1997.

For the last 20 years we have seen a lot of fight scenes in Naruto. Some of them were Epic and some of them were boring. But here are Top 5 Epic Naruto fights

P.S : This list contains my personal favorites. If it doesn’t contain your favorites then I apologize from the bottom of my heart for that. Let’s Start!!

1. Naruto vs Sasuke

what could be more epic fight then this one!

At the Valley of the End, Sasuke speaks about his notion of a “true Hokage”, and talks about Itachi and his past related to Konoha. He tells Naruto that Itachi is “the true Hokage”. He then speaks about Itachi’s mistake, and the loss of his clan-members, how he wants to shoulder the pain and hatred of shinobi on his own. He then goes on to state that through this method, he would unify the villages, and eradicate the darkness in the world. Despite Naruto telling him that no-one would agree to this, Sasuke replies that it did not matter what they thought of him, as he is the only one with the power to control them. Naruto contemplates how he too had tried to shoulder everything and remembers Itachi’s words that if he forgot the people that gave him strength, and took it all on his own, that he would become prideful like Madara. He then voices the fact that Sasuke still did not understand what Itachi really wanted, noting that their fight with Kaguya should have shown him that he couldn’t do everything on his own.The aftermath of Sasuke and Naruto’s attacks devastate the landscape around them, and even decapitates the statues of Madara and Hashirama.

The shock-waves from their clash are felt even by Kakashi as he watched on. Though both their chakras reserves are severely depleted, the duo continue to fight on, clashing relentlessly with fierce taijutsu, while remembering their time in the Academy practising Traditional Shinobi Sparring. Back on the battlefield, Sakura finally wakes up then immediately inquires about the current situation. The duo’s battle soon diminishes to weak exchanges. Kurama is able to mould some chakra and give it to Naruto, but before he can use it, Sasuke absorbs it to use it for his own finishing blow. As he prepares to deliver what he calls his strongest attack, Sasuke declares that he would finally be alone and bids Naruto farewell. Naruto and and Sasuke both lie defeated on what appears to be the statues’ hands forming a seal of reconciliation. Meanwhile, Sakura and Kakashi arrive to the Valley of the End to witness Naruto and Sasuke both lying next to each other. Sakura begins to heal both Naruto and Sasuke. Then Sasuke apologises to a teary-eyed Sakura for what he has done to her. As the duo are both rejuvenated, they then release everyone from the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

2. Naruto vs Pain

One of the most Epic and saddest fight in the whole series !!

After killing Jiraiya, Pain went to Find the Nine Tails Jichuriki. While Naruto was still training Senjutsu , Pain went to Konoha to find him. Upon reaching Konoha, Pain discussed the battle plans for the invasion. The Asura Path, Preta Path, and new Animal Path will act as diversions while the Deva Path, Naraka Path, Human Path, and Konan interrogated villagers on the whereabouts of Naruto Uzumaki, the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Demon Foxeither through mind reading or threat of death. Once preparations were complete, the Asura Path threw the Animal Path into the village where it summoned the other Six Paths of Pain and the invasion began. After destroying the whole Leaf village in seconds. Pain went all over the village to find Naruto.

Because Konoha only expected one invader, the multiple points of attack made it difficult for Konoha to react. The Fifth Hokage called for Naruto to return to the village to aid in its defence, but the messenger toad Kōsuke was killed by Danzō before he could leave, to prevent Akatsuki a chance at capturing the Nine-Tails, as well as in the hope that Tsunade would lose her position in the attack. Meanwhile Tsunade remained at the Ninja Academy to summon and use Katsuyu to heal any villager who was injured during the attack. Kakashi Hatake engaged the Deva Path, who was quickly backed up by the Asura Path. Chōza and his team of shinobi along with his son, Chōji Akimichicame to Kakashi’s aid and discovered the Deva Path’s unique gravity manipulation has a five second window. Despite discovering this secret and the Asura Path defeated, Chōza along with his team were critically wounded and Kakashi incapacitated, leaving only Chōji to deliver the information to Tsunade. Konohamaru Sarutobi engaged and defeated the Naraka Path, while Tsume and Kiba Inuzuka engaged the Preta Path.

Using his newly learned senjutsu techniques and a perfected Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, Naruto saved Tsunade  with a Badass entry and handily defeated the Asura, Human, Animal, and Naraka Paths, before the Deva Path regained enough strength to fight on its own again. When he was finally caught and held by the energy-absorbing Preta Path, Naruto used the senjutsu chakra to disrupt the Preta Path’s chakra flow, turning it into a frog statue, before finally facing the Deva Path, Pain’s last and most often used body. Pain quickly dispatched the giant toads and gained the upper hand, killing Fukasaku in the process. Using another gravity manipulation technique to grab and immobilise Naruto, Pain then pinned him to the ground with his Chakra Disruption Blades in order to take him away. Before departing, Naruto asked Pain why he had done everything, to which Pain replied that the world could never have the peace Jiraiya fought for because the world was too full of hatred, and, therefore, the only way to create world peace was through force. By using the tailed beasts, Pain planned on making a weapon strong enough to destroy a country, and the fear of that weapon would prevent more fighting. The fight was long and Naruto sorted out everything in the end. After defeating the Pain,Naruto was called the HERO OF KONOHA.

3. Madara Uchiha vs Shinobi Alliance

Probably my most favorite fight scene xD

Kabuto takes control over Mū’s body and explains to Madara that he has made him stronger than when he was in his prime. With that, Madara pushes forward and takes down a large portion of the Fourth Division using only taijutsu and kenjutsu to dominate them, with the aid of his Sharingan to evade their attacks. Temari tells Naruto to enter “that mode”, but he replies that he is out of chakra and cannot do so. She later hits Madara with an attack that sends him away, but little to no damage is done. He then uses a powerful flame technique on the alliance, who barely manage to counter it with their combined water techniques.

Madara then launches plenty of fireballs at the alliance and also reappears in the smoke to fight. As he proceeds to defeat even more of them, he is stopped by Gaara’s sand. Gaara, Ōnoki and Naruto manage to corner Madara with their techniques. However, Madara activates his Susanoo to shield himself from Naruto’s Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan. Naruto enters Sage Mode and after Gaara takes Madara away from the Susanoo, Naruto attacks him with a Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.

However, he activates his Rinnegan and absorbs Naruto’s attack, confirming Kabuto’s hypothesis on the Sharingan’s potential to evolve into the Rinnegan. Madara drops a meteorite on the Fourth Division, but while Ōnoki stops it, he is unable to stop the second meteorite. It falls on them, crushing and killing a large number of them. There are few survivors, but they are wounded, including Ōnoki. Madara then attempts to summon the Nine-Tails but fails because it is still sealed within Naruto. He then proceeds to test Hashirama’s cells inside of him by using the Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees, leaving Naruto and the other surviving shinobi of the Fourth Division in shock.

4. Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki Otsutsuki

This is literally my favorite fight scene in any Naruto movies !!

In the Boruto movie Naruto apparently sacrifices himself to protect everyone and entrusts Boruto’s safety to Sasuke. The conflict persuades Boruto to see what the Ninja World really is. Sensing that Naruto is still alive in another dimension, Sasuke allies himself with the other Kages: Gaara, Darui, Chojūro and Kurotsuchi to rescue him. Boruto insists on joining them to make amends with his father. They arrive in the other dimension and find Naruto bound by the Ōtsutsuki duo, and the four Kage engage Kinshiki in a fight.

When the Kage fail to subdue him, Momoshiki turns Kinshiki into a chakra pill and swallows him to increase his strength. Naruto and Sasuke fight as well. Momoshiki is overpowered, but a foolish Katasuke shoot Momoshiki with a Kote that only restores his own strength. He fires the Kote’s jutsu back at the Five Kage, trapping them and impaling Naruto with multiple black receivers.

Weakened, Naruto lends his remaining chakra to Boruto while Sasuke distracts Momoshiki long enough for Boruto to create a giant Rasengan. Boruto blinds Momoshiki’s Rinnegan with his own Vanishing Rasengan and attacks him with the giant Rasengan. Momoshiki ends up absorbing his own chakra along with the giant Rasengan and gets disintegrated into outer space.

In the days following the victory, Naruto’s schedule has been severely lessened, allowing him to spend more time at home, much to the happiness of his family. After reconciling with Naruto, Boruto resolves to become a ninja who protects the village from the shadows; he supports Sarada’s dream of being Hokage.

5. Rock Lee vs Gaara

After a long wait, Rock Lee is matched to fight against Gaara. Lee begins the fight by attacking with taijutsu, but his attacks are blocked by Gaara’s Sand. To bypass the speed of Gaara’s Shield of Sand, Might Guy allows Lee to remove his leg weights. In doing so, Lee’s speed increases and he manages to land hits on Gaara, only to discover his body is coated in sand. Lee opens the first of the Eight Gates and launches Gaara into the air with several kicks. Catching Gaara with his bandages, Lee uses the Front Lotus on him, only to discover he used it on a Body Replacement Technique.

speed proved too much for Gaara, and his sand was no longer able to form a shield fast enough to be of use. Lee opened the Fifth Gate, and used his most powerful attack, Reverse Lotus.

Gaara survived this final blow due to him softening his fall by turning his gourd into sand, and used the sand to crush Lee’s left arm and leg. Gaara moved his sand to finish Lee, but Guy jumped in to protect his student. Lee, although unconscious due to the pain, rose to continue the battle, his desire to win fueling his broken body. Guy wept at Lee’s dedication, and Lee was taken away to recover.
